Monday's Hospos' Saturday

Mooloolaba is quickly growing with cool dive bars, Mexican tapas and bespoke cocktail lounges, the hopso scene is slowly, but surely, becoming the talk of the small beach town.

I'll skip the jargon and give you the rundown, here's what's happening on a Monday night in Mooloolaba...

Taps offers cheap house pours, shots and beers packed with dive bar vibes, live music and a mean set of wings. Opens at 5pm and will keep pumping till 1am.

WAT Den (open from 4pm) and the coast's best Monday Margs have a killer view of the sunset. Three bespoke margs are created each week, a classic marg available, mystery shots and banter all night, all under $10.

What do I recommend?

Fling yourself between the two Hospo nights. Start at WAT Den with a margy for sunset, smash a pint at Taps and make your way to 4 Pines for their $15 parmy night for dinner. After that? Move between the bars, make a new group of mates at Taps Janga Towers and move into WAT Dens' lounge for late night hours...
